Yesterday, I received a package in the mail and was thrilled to see a new book published by Rodale entitled Eat Clean, Stay Lean – The Ultimate Guide To Clean, Cleaner and Cleanest Foods, by the Editors of Prevention with Wendy Bazilian, DRPH, RD.
This book is loaded with the newest and most important information about how to navigate the tricky landscape that has become our modern food supply, the benefits of eating whole foods, and how to decipher food labels to find the best, clean packaged foods.
This book contains a wealth of practical information such as how to snack smarter, how to stock your pantry, how to properly store your food, and even what to look out for in your beauty products.
The book is well-formatted in an easy-to-read manner with color-coded pages that make it easy to find anything that piques your interest. There are plenty of beautiful photos of lip-smacking delicious recipes.
Each section begins with a primer on what foods in that category are “not clean”, “clean” and “cleanest”. You might be surprised to find how easy it is to shed some of your old “go to” ingredients for much cleaner, healthier alternatives. This book will help make the transition to a healthy diet easy and exciting!
