I have a few things to cover in this report, so bear with me. I’ll try to keep it short!
November Eat To Live Report
As mentioned in my October Eat To Live Report, I decided to go back on Dr. Fuhrman’s 6-Week Eat To Live program to clean up my act after what I felt was a half-hearted attempt to drop 20 pounds. So I got back on the program the second week of November and over the next 3 weeks, I dropped 8.5 pounds. That’s almost 3 pounds a week. I did the happy dance.
Then came Thanksgiving and over the course of 2 days, I put 3 pounds back on. I could get all down on myself about that, but I’m not going to. I had a great time with my family over the holiday. And now that it’s over, I just got right back with the program. I’m no worse for the wear. In the grand scheme of things, I’ve dropped 13 of the 20 pounds I wanted to lose. I have another 3 weeks to go on the program and I can see the finish line. Check back next month to see the final result!
(And yes, I’m still planning on putting out an eBook covering all of the food I ate while on the 6-week program, but due to the Exciting News discussed below, it may take me a bit longer to finish it. But I promise I will get it done!)
One Year Anniversary
I started this blog last November and I can’t believe that a year has passed already. It’s been a lot of fun as well as a lot of hard work. I’ve learned a lot and met/connected with people from all around the world. I think it’s wonderful that something like a passion for good food can bring so many people together. The web is filled with beautiful and inspirational food blogs and I keep discovering more every day.
I’d like to say thank you to all of you who read this blog. It really makes my day to get your emails and comments. Please keep them coming. I try to use your feedback to make this blog a better and more useful place to visit. You guys keep me going. Thankyouthankyouthankyou.
Exciting News
Have you ever been sworn to secrecy, but feel like you’ll just burst at the seams if you don’t spill the beans? Well that’s how I’ve felt for the past month. But the killer part is that I still can’t tell you! I know that is such a terrible tease. I apologize.
What I can tell you is that I’ve been asked to be a part of a very big, very exciting project. When I think about all of my beliefs around food and nutrition, I couldn’t have hand-picked a more perfect group to work with to get the message out. I feel very fortunate that they found me and I’m honored to be part of their new venture.
When I’m given the green light, I’ll tell you all about it. Check back in January for the announcement!
